Process Notes:

Impressionist works inspired by Americana heirlooms and handmade craft.

Capturing fleeting moments of connection and ease, the work is presented with outer edges framed in my traditional hard-edge style, inspired by vintage Americana. Within these borders, the imagery takes on a more impressionistic quality, rendered with intuitive marks that suggest rather than define. Alma-mater–like pennants further evoke memory, tradition, and community. The process is deliberately imperfect, allowing each piece to carry both the immediacy of a gesture and the permanence of an artifact.
